Hi  :)

I went back to work today and thankfully they'd postponed the kids coming back till tomorrow so we were able to do a modicum of planning. I was, however informed that I had staff training tonight from 6p.m. - 9p.m. I also, apparantly, have staff training on Wednesday and Thursday evening from 6.30p.m. - 9 p.m.

In this day and age of email I really think someone could have told me before today!!!!

I have a urology appointment tomorrow morning so I'll be late for work. (It's a follow up appointment so it shouldn't take too long. It will go along the lines of me saying "thankyou for doing the tests and finding nothing drastic wrong. I tried cutting out tea, coffee, oranges, grapefruits, tomatoes etc but just ended up with concentrated urine and I think I can live with an irritable bladder OK as long as it's nothing worse than that. No I haven't been te the physio - I never got a letter even although I know you were going to refer me. I looked up the exercises online and tried them out but if I hang on too long - I can't let go properly - and then I get a pain like a period pain so I think I'll just use pads if its all the same to you!"
He'll then discharge me.

On Thursday - after workbut before 'training', I have a dental appointment. Thankfully I don't think there's anything on at the weekend and I'm going to spend most of it asleep!

Never do tomorrow what you can put off till the day after tomorrow!

Wow Scottie, that's a big week ahead for you. I agree that it would have been nice if they would have mentioned the schedule before.

Try to take it easy when you can. Good luck.

Scottie, In spite of it all you remain a trooper. I wish I could be a little mouse in the corner when you tell the urology doc that information.

And you are right---you would think someone could have told you about the training at night. I suppose they figured you weren't going anyplace anyway. HaHa. Like once in a while we all do like to go someplace!!!!!!

I just hope that the doc can give you some answers to your problems so that you can get rid of the problem. Here's hoping for a better week than you are expecting. Irish ;D

Geeez Scottie!

It would have been nice to kind of ease into work slowly....not go into it full speed ahead!  ;)

And yes I agree it would have been common professional courtesy to let you know of extended work hours AHEAD of time so that you could plan accordingly!

But it is what it is so please try to get through the week as painlessly as possible.....and look forward to a restful weekend afterward!

Take care of yourself!

Good luck with your fun filled week Scottie........................not!  :o Some days are like this, while others seem to run together.  It would seem all of yours are running together. :-\  Sleep well over the weekend, I hope it's undisturbed.  ;)

Take care,

Pooh

HI Scottie,

You trying to match the energizer bunny? LOL. Hope that you can sneak in a break here and there to get you through this week. Will be thinking of you this week.

Scottie,

I hope you don't work too hard. I hope it goes easy on you, this week.

I hope the dental appt is the one they take those temps off and place you some pretty new crowns. That will be a quick appt. if it is.

Oh Tottie,

It's so hard to be surprised with the news that you have to "hit the ground running" at the start up of school.  I am better at that sort of thing if I can mentally plan for it...not to mention trying to fit in exhausting doctor appointments between it all!

Wishing you the energy and mental alertness to deal with it all, my dear!
