Hi Nisha - I wonder if Plaquenil helps with brain fog because it alleviated fatigue and when totally wiped out, the brain just doesn't function properly?

Maybe......................

Take care - Scottie  :)

Until I had come on here at SjW, I really thought that my 'brain fog' was due to my becoming stupid all of a sudden. Thought I was getting Alzheimer's. LOL. Now I am just normal.

Forgetting peoples names, going the wrong direction, forgetting words. You know.. Life.. normal with Brain Fog

Nisha,
I completely understand what you mean, when i have brain fog I say the wierdest things. I ask my dr for a subscription instead prescription. Or I confuse names. When I have brain fog I say to my friends "Hey there" cause I cant think of their names fast enough (and these are ppl who have been in my life forever.)

Thanks for all the great post! I stopped searching the internet and read threads here.

Steve, Thanks for the link, I could relate to some of the things you were saying.

Irish,
I hear conflicting stories about gentics even from drs. My Rhummy says no, but primary and Ped. dr says yes there is a "disposition" for it. Very confusing for me. Just want to know if I should worry about my kids. :)

Thanks Nisha and Solmom.   I know that I didn't really share any important info on that one video but just wanted to continue a sort of blog of my experiences.   I can't believe how fat my face looks and what makes it worse is that its mostly on my right side this time.  I'm looking a little asymetrical.    Humm....its a wonder I came up with that word.  Guess I'm not too foggy today.    My rhumy took me off Plaguenuil and put me on Cellcept.  I'll have to ask her why.   I started to get smart about my appointments and I'm writing down all my questions to ask her because in the past I'll get home and say "HEck...I forgot to ask her this or that".  I think its important for us to really understand our own illness.

Steve -

I find writing down my questions between appointments really helps.  I have a Word document right on my Desktop (I am at my computer a lot) and every time I think of something, I open it up and add a sentence.
