My short end of the stick!!

 Well...I have finally heard from the transplant team at MUSC.  I have to take a class next month on kidney transplants before the transplant team will even see me.....I guess they want me to be sure I know what I am getting into! LOL  It has really helped writing to all of you about this.  I will probably drive you nuts with Sjogrens and how it is making my kidneys fail.  My numbers are holding steady...still not good....but not worse either!

vicky, We want to hear about your journey. Hopefully it won't be a long one. Also, it would be really nice if those kidneys would decided to start working again. Believe it or not it can happen. It happened to a guy we know. He ended up on dialysis for a year or so and his kidneys recovered and started working again.

I would imagine that the transplant team wants all their patients highly informed before they embark on this journey. Good luck. Irish
