Good day to you all.  Have you noticed, on the internet, that there is a lot of Quacks out there that have jumped in on the Sjogren's cure band wagon?  I am saying this because of the concern I have for our SjS family.   I am alarmed and sadden by these unscrupulous bugs who prey on people who are already suffering enough.  Isn't it wonderful to have a forum where we can vent a little and get so much good feed back?

Hi Seeker  :)

I think you're making a really important point here. Anyone can post anything online and it's certainly not all true. Everything needs to be questioned and double checked.
I think this forum is really special. It's well used and has great members. It's the only positive thing I think of regarding SjS. I'd never have met so many nice people if I didn't have it!!

Take care - Scottie  :)

I've noticed that more and more these quacks are showing up with books due to how easy it is to self publish now a days.  Anyone can publish their theory about medical matters regardless of if they are qualified to speak on the matter through vanity publishing  companies.  My dad has tried to get me to read countless books by these quacks who self published books pushing their theories and products to cure you and when I refused he doesn't understand that having written a book about something now a days doesn't make you an reliable expert on the subject.

One of the things that really irritates me about these quacks is, that there are so many of them out there.  With so many touting this program or that special cure, when something that really works comes along, we are less likely to notice it or try it.  I would really like to pluck the feathers of some of these slugs.  Hmmm slugs with feathers, now that's an interesting thought.
