Question for the staff . . . . is there a Sjoggie Members List by state? (or country, for those who live outside the USA)  It would be nice to find "local" members who are on the same "Sjogren Road" for support.  Don't get me wrong . . this website and message forum is w-o-n-d-e-r-f-u-l . . it would just be nice to have the local support too.

As you've seen, our member list is alphabetical, and cross referencing for locale hasn't come up. I'll mention it at our next staff meeting, but meanwhile, you could simply post a request for people in your area to make themselves known to you. Maybe you can get together and start a real world support group. In the past, some of our members in the Seattle area have done that, and met in person.

Bucky,
Have you joined our E-pals group.  You could request those in your area to become an E-pal and who knows, you just might find a neighbor with Sjogren's.

Bucky,

Have you checked out Sjogren's Syndrome Foundation (http://www.sjogrens.org/). They have support groups in different areas and maybe they have one in yours. Like Pooh said, our e-pals program has members from all over the world. You can find the info for e-pals at: http://www.sjogrensworld.org/e-pals.htm

Bucky -

The Sjögren's Syndrome Foundation sponsors 85 support groups in North America so there may well be one near you.  The groups vary a lot in what they offer, dependent a bit on size and the Group Leader.  All offer support and friendship of course, plus many have speakers, some hold fund raising events and they offer a variety of useful resources.
