Hi  :)

Just wondered if everyone is OK after all the terrible weather there has been in several States.
Not often your weather makes it onto British TV - but it's been on recently.

Take care - Scottie  :)

Hi there!  I am in the State of California and we finally have sunshine. Lots of damage to other areas of the state, but we are near San Francisco, so we made it through okay, but now we have to worry about major flooding when the snow packs (in the mountains) begin to melt.  Lots of pollen from two foot high weeds this year, and they are saying that we will still have a fire season soon.  Our weather went from our normal winter temps of the 60s, to early summer temps in the 80s.  We will be close to 90 degrees this time next week.  I think I liked the rain better.

Julie, Interesting about your weather this year. I live in MInnesota and have followed your weather as my grandaughter moved to Merced about 1 year ago. I am always checking with her to see if she is flooded or whatever. Can't believe the snow that so many areas got and hard to believe that even with all that moisture they still expect fires again. WOW. Take care. meirish

Just to let people know that it finally got warm in Minnesota after our long winter.  It has been quite hot at times and down right miserable.

We have had some rain here and when I traveled last week I was so surprised to see the crops looking as good as they do. It has not rained as much as we need. In fact Minnesota is still considered to be in a state of drought. WE had more snow this past winter than we had for the previous couple of winters so surprised that it is as dry as it is.

Hope all of you have been safe during all these storms taking place around the country. Sounds like we could have a lot of storms over the country this summer. Hope all stay safe. meirish
