I know that it has been some time since I have posted. Yes, I still have some symptoms. Dry eyes, nose, mouth, skin, and bum. I no longer test positive for sjogrens or arthritis. No roaming random pain. No sensitivity to weather changes. I learned the hard way I am still sensitive to the heat of the sun while loading the car in Glendive MT on the trip home.

We took an extra day on our trip out for a stop in Fargo, ND. We had supper at the Red Lobster with Jan's Twin, her family and some friends to celebrate our 50th wedding Anniversary. We had a double wedding with Jan's twin. There were 10 of us. One friend paid for everyone's meal and the other left a $100 tip. I had planned on paying so that was a very pleasant surprise.

Jan did all the driving. Going out I was in the shade most of the time, so no sun challenges. We spent a night in Billings, MT, Spokane Valley, WA, and Bellingham, WA on our trip out. We chose the correct day to cross the border it was just a couple of minutes. We had to wait most of the day to get a spot on the ferry to the island. About 3 hours driving to Sayward after we landed.

Our daughters family has a home on the foothill to a mountain that overlooks a valley that has a park, lake, and the Salmon river. On July 1, our Anniversary, they had a free community picnic with grilled salmon or hotdogs. One of our grandsons was serving food. He was so busy he did not think we came for the free lunch.

I was fascinated watching the mountain across the valley change with clouds and sun lite. Very relaxing. Our son-in-law did most of the cooking. Our daughter had some time off. Our grand children had to work most days.

On the 4th, the 3 girls took a day at the hydro path spa. They enjoyed all the pampering. Before we left we purchased a deck table and chairs set for 6 people for them. Our middle grandson put it together. They went back and purchased an umbrella for the table.

We stayed in Bellingham WA after crossing the border. Missoula was very expensive for hotels so we stayed in Lolo, MT and Glendive Mt on the trip home. We drove about 500-600 miles per day. The trip was 1980 miles one way. The further west we got the more expensive gas was.

I had budgeted $8000 for the trip. Actual expense was $5500 for our 3 week vacation.

I have now killed borellia burgdorferi 7 times. My Spooky2 has been killing the related nano-bacteria. It would have been nice to know this in 1984 as I could have stopped the additional damage it caused to my body. I hope you can find something that helps you find relief from this horrible disease.

I forgot to mention the brain fog has lifted. It seems borellia burgdorferi extracts magnesium from my body and that caused the brain fog.

Since I do not check back often PM me if you want to talk.

Joe, I didn't see this cause I haven't been on here as much either. So glad I found it as always fun to hear about your vacations. I had wondered about you one day and if you were still able to do these trips. Sounds like you had a great time.

Glad you are feeling better. Sometimes our blood work can turn negative...docs often call it burnout and could be something that occurs as we get older. Other times I think the blood work just wanders around and comes up positive or negative whenever.

Sounds like you wife is still doing well as she drove so many miles each day. It is much easier to take those long trips without little kids, isn't it. Although nowadays the kids watch movies on these trips and keep pretty quiet, or so I hear.

Take care and have a good fall and winter. Be interesting to see what these seasons bring weather wise. meirish
