My neurosurgeon has postponed my extensive cervical surgery again due to a loose crown. He wants to make sure that I get a deep cleaning as well as fixing the crown problem.  As we all know, Sjogren's affects our saliva that clears bacteria.  I am glad that I have a neurosurgeon who is willing to take Sjogren's into consideration before doing the surgery (C3-C7 decompression, C2-C7 fusion).

Makes sure you always have a good cleaning and have your mouth checked out before any surgery.
