I think it is the hardest thing of all, to give our children bad news like you have, Susan.  They will always be our babies, no matter their age.  I knew you were close to your son and his wife too, and I'm sure this will only bring you closer.

Your little fur baby is probably a source of joy too.  Reminding you of you beloved dad.  Our senior dog is my favourite "person:, and she loves me unconditionally.  She is a rescue dog who rescued me.

One day at a time. That's how we do it.  May tomorrow be one more beautiful day!

I have been twice now to U.T. Medical Center. On August 24 I will have a complete hysterectomy. Then wait to find out if I have any spreading cancer.
I had a fall 2 days ago, and hit the back of my head and it bled. It stopped bleeding quickly, and I did not pass out or anything. It is just very sore where the small cut is. I hope it isn't anything to worry about.

Susan, Glad to hear that your surgery has been scheduled quite soon. It is always so hard to wait for surgery of any kind and especially with this surgery I would think. Sorry that you had that fall, I always fall forward and wreck my knees and toes. You didn't pass out so that was good and the bleeding stopped quickly. Head wounds can bleed a lot so you were lucky. Hope you are recovering from that and will keep you in my prayers. I'm sure it is hard waiting.

Did you get to talk to your son about this?? I know you said he was out of town and has been working such long hours lately. Good luck. meirish

Thank you for your prayers irish. Yes I told my son. He put  me on a prayer list at his job, and he prayed for me and is always trying to. encourage me. My daughter in law did too. How are you doing friend?
