I thot I better check in and see if you folks are having better weather. Minnesota had some very cool spring months and May was quite chilly. Farmers are very late planting and many planting in June. People doing gardens later and even raking lawns later. It seemed to rain just enough to prevent the raking and the snow was late to leave also.

The other thing we have going on is the wind. I moved up a couple of hours northish of where I lived for over 40 years las July. The wind was blowing a lot when I moved here and it has blown almost every day since. I mean it is not 5 miles per hour. Windy enough to even cause a person to avoid walking even when the sun is shining. I want to get out walking again but hate walking with the wind blowing in my face so hard. I know that it is blowing more a lot of places so I just figure that this is the new norm. Would enjoy hearing what other folks are experiencing with their weather. meirish

I've been gone for awhile because the link to the site was messed up, so I finally figured it out and changed my password, but at least I didn't need to re join.  Anyway, the weather here in the Pacific NW is really wierd this year.  We've had a really wet, cool spring and start to summer. Most all of the days in May were colder than normal.  Finally for the past 3 days it's been warm, in the 80s.  Last year around this time is when we had the record breaking heat wave of 106 degrees (in the Seattle area) and up in Canada it was 120 degrees!  I sure hope that doesn't happen again.
