Myositis can be a crippling & painful disease accompanying Sjögren's Syndrome.
It is not widely known that Sjögren's Syndrome patients can develop Polymyositis and rarer forms of this disorder, such as Inclusion Body Myositis.
Most of them, but not all, respond to immune-suppression.

I developed Inclusion Body Myositis after suffering over 30 years of Sjögren's Syndrome and Peripheral Neuropathy.

Believe me, it's heck.

Thanks for posting this information.  Looking at the symtoms, it seems similar to what we already experience in normal Sjogrens right?  But just more severe and concentrated?

I think the overlap might be the reason these additional diseases and conditions get missed.  I already have GERD and raynauds, and this condition keeps adding more things.

Its really good to know though so that we can get tested for these things and get proper treatment.
