At last some progress is made into a better classification of our syndrome!  Although I feel there still is no universal consensus as the biological cause & manifestation can be so hugely different.

Also none of these categories fit me.

I feel my category should read: dryness & pain dominant high symptom burden. So rather a combination of 3 out of 4 than a single one.

Thank you for posting this link, Sjogirl.

I've always felt there are different manifestations of this disease, for instance I can still cry tears (!) and still have some saliva, however I have sore eyes with MGD, dry mouth at night, a lot of fatigue, and all sorts of other dryness symptoms.

Let's hope this is the beginning of some better research and treatment.
