Chiari malformation?

Confused

Anyone familiar with Chiari malformation?   How the heck to find a good neuro?  Very hard for anyone to really know. 

Best forum for dealing with Chiari. 

Ruled out stroke,  ms.  Did cat scan MRI

Dizzy,  double vision no brain tumor or bleeds or so they say.  Anyone  know where to really be able to learn.

Any help would be appreciated.

I did research years ago on this because I had a patient with it. I believe that if you search Wisconsin there is a groups of specialists who deal with this. Try the U. of Wis. and see what you find. Irish

1) Chiari Malformation definitely can be diagnosed with an MRI of the head and neck.

Chiari hasn't been all that common, but with the new diagnostic tools there is more diagnosis done.. It is something that needs to be followed up on and taken seriously. Some people need surgery to prevent symptoms from increasing. The surgeries are more common now since the info is more wide spread and there are specialist in their own clinics who deal with this problem. You will feel less confused when you pursue this issue and talk with the specialists. Good luck. Irish
