so ive been wondering if any one of you guys ever have this feeling that I do..when i talk, i keep getting this weird "stressful" type of pain in the pit of my stomach..ive developed this for the last few years...ive got gastritis & was treated for it waay long ago in 2012...but back then i dont remember i ever had this issue..this pain is sure strange its like ive eaten a cow & my stomach "feels" so full & stressed...its like its working overtime to make me talk..and then i feel out of breath like i been yelling or something. but when im not talking its fine...and im a pretty calm person i dont shout or anything when i talk...this issue's making me hate talking anymore

i dont know which other forum to post this...i know its probably not from sjogrens but dont have any idea what it could be

Do you think that you are swallowing air?Irish

Justs reads my previous post and it sure does sound stupid. However, you would be amazed at how much air a person can swallow when they talk. MY hubby had issues with swallowing air and it caused some problems but not as severe as yours. It is also possible that you are having neurological problems that show down the peristalsis in the colon and stomach. This is called gastroparesis. It can cause delayed emptying of the stomach and colon with infrequent stools and other weird stuff. I would push GI doc for additional testing, etc. Irish

Any other stomach issues?

Stress can really affect our GI tract.

thanks 4 ur reply...i've heard of gastroparesis before but don't know if I have it...but i do have neuropathy, just not sure if it involves the GI tract...well definitely I been suffering from infrequent stools, SEVERE constipation like never before (that started a little before my neuropathy started), & this wierd vibration feeling in my stomach or colon (I dont even know where exactly)...

Gastroparesis can cause constipation. It is a neuropathy of the Gastrointestinal tract as the nerves that stimulate the stomach and colon will slow down and stool will just sit.
The at the opposite end of the spectrum there can be irritability of GI tract with diarrhea and loose or watery stools. You would do well to see a GI doctor and maybe even a neurologist to ascertain just how much neuropathy you are having.

I have been dealing with this same thing the past few weeks and finally decided that I had better rule out gastroparesis. I do have a lot of neuropathy in hands and arms right now so who knows. With autoimmune it is really hard to tell much of the time. However, if symptoms hang around longer than seems reasonable it always pays to get things checked out. Good luck. Irish
