What a Christmas!!  I?m so glad you went to the ER and got much needed help.  It?s a good thing you resisted letting them send you home too early! 

Everybody I know has had something knock them down recently.  Makes me want to stay in the house and avoid any gatherings.  Unfortunately, we can?t do that.  I feel like hibernating. So glad you powered through.

Dear irish,
I wish I were close to you, and then if nothing else we could chat, and I could be there if I needed to call someone for you. You live across the pond don't you? Or maybe I have that mixed up. My brain fog is worse these days. You have had so many things done that I can see how your body has just felt over loaded. It needed time to rest from so many things, and you need calm, but not alone time.

I enjoy watching the HGTV, and some of the Christmas Shows were ok, but after a while they all seemed to run together. We mostly love on our two doggies. I can't tolerate going long distance placed in the car anymore without crashing. My son and daughter in law wanted us to go to a place with lots of Christmas lights that was 3 hours away one way. We went because they wanted us too so much. It was nice, but I had to take days to recover. So did hubby.

I ask about the immunologist, because I don't feel my Rheumatolgist really interacts with me as he should. He will quickly ask if I have pain anywhere, then am I taking the meds he prescribed me. That is usually it. Once a year he sends me to the hospital to have blood work and they call if I need something. It's just all straight forward. Maybe I am just making too much of it. If I ever have any issues with kidneys or anything not clearly under his profession then he says well you need to see(and names that type doctor). Maybe that is what he is suppose to do. I guess I don't know.

I've been offline for awhile and just saw this. So sorry you went through this - but the fact that you stood up for your own health care and refused to be dismissed makes you my hero! Good for you! I hope you are now on the mend and getting a good start on the new year.
