When I asked my opthalmologist last week if 'Restasis' was finally available in Europe, she said: "No, but recently generic cyclosporine eye drops are."

Wow! Sure wish I'd known that sooner!

She's allowing me a trial for 5 weeks to see if the blepharitis improves. Warned me too: "Isn't effective for everyone and might hurt in the beginning."

Hi  :)

Cyclosporine has been available in Europe for awhile. I'm currently using Cyclosprine Gel, at night, which I really like but was told i can only get it from the Eye Hospital pharmacy. I was told it would sting - but it doesn't.

Take care - Scottie  :)
