Hi everyone. My daughter has lupus and I have Sjogrens. We are both wondering if users see definitive results from use. What are the benefits and side effects?  I am particularly interested in help for pain and fatigue.

Thanks for your help.

Dear Anna,

I started LDN in January, 2017.  It helps me enormously.  I have 'extra' to take as needed, as well as the regular capsule I take every night.

I had to stop taking Aleve for pain because it was very hard on my gastrointestinal system.  And I had to stop taking Cymbalta which was my magic medicine for pain and mood, then I developed intolerable side effects.  The pain specialist at Duke Innovative Pain Therapies immediately put me on LDN.

I started with a low dose, and increased each week.  The initial side effects are headache and nausea, but that passed fairly soon.  There are no other side effects with LDN, it is very very safe to take.

Please consider using the compounding pharmacy that I've used for years for my estradiol and now for LDN.  It is long standing, great reputation, and much cheaper than local compounding pharmacies.

I'll send you a private message with the contact information if you want it.

Regard,  Elaine

Elaine,

Yes, please send me the information on your compounding pharmacy. I am interested!!! This pain is wearing on me as I am sure you know. I can tak Aleve every 10 days or so. Anymore than that bothers my stomach.

Thanks again!!!

Ohiolady,

I have been on LDN since last August. It has been a life-saver to my debilitating fatigue. I just got my 83 y/o mom on it and it has really helped her also. She is seeing my Rheumy here in PA. also.

I would highly recommend trying it.

Take care.

I was so hoping it would help me but it increased my pain. I was SO disappointed !!! I still think it's worth a try. I have a strange system..... Good luck to you and keep us posted.
