Trigeminal neuralgia or atypical face pain

My very first flare involved excruciating pain along the back of my head.   For a few days.  The doctors were stumped and I had multiple tests. Eventually they diagnosed SJS.   It went away by itself.   I was left with some hearing loss.  Since then I occasionally have teeth that ache for no reason.   Or a spot in the back of my head that will flare up when a flare is coming.

I replied but it was removed or disappeared.

I developed atypical facial nerve pain involving the trigeminal nerve a good five years ago after dental work.

Do u have atypical face pain only? Or has it changed into trigeminal neuralgia?

Although at times it still can be severely painful and does involve the trigeminal nerve,
I would still think it would be classified as atypical.
