Cervical Instability

Just had results of a flexion scan showing quite alot of issues, namely c2 and c3 significant instability on movement of head.
I have ehlers danlos syndrome also so am totally miffed as to what is causing what. Also have disc bulging lower down across a number of vertebrae.
Has anyone here with sjogrens dealt with anything like this. I'm thinking of fusion surgery.

My scan also showed up significant mucosal thickening of right ancillary sinus. I have loads of pressure and nerve pain all throughout my head. Is this just sinus issues from sjogrens? Is it possible this could be an infection and It's causing more problems round my head? (Loads of head pressure and nerve pain throughout face at mo). With this comes nerve pain. I am having terrible mouth burning and inside my mouth loads of neuro issues. With this i have very red roar looking bits at side of palate. Is it possible there is an infection playing part in this or is it just sjogrens

This would take a visit to another specialist I would think. My first thought is that this could be neuropathy as it is not unusual to have neuropathy in the facial area. The swelling in the one sinus is something that an ENT should investigate.

I have had a feeling of swelling and stuffiness a lot over the years and my head will feel as big as a big beachball and I feel like I can't think straight. I think it is just something from the sjogrens and neuropathy. It would help some to use a cortisone nasal spray.

You will also have to investigate the cervical issues plus the disc issues. Need to see a neurologist to see what nerve these are putting pressure on and if the pressure can be attributed to certain discs, etc. This is a multifaceted problem and I would not rush into a surgery without following up really well. A surgery can't be undone and could cause more problems then  you have now. Good luck and keep us updated.

This could ne a neuropathy that is miserable. I am going through something similar right now. Irish
