pump inhibitors and saliva

hi, if you take a pump inhibitor, omeoprazole, pantoprazole etc, did you notice that your saliva is thicker?

It is possible  that it dried up some saliva as it dries up the acid production in the stomach. I can't telo you if I noticed this myself as I take so many meds that cause dryness. This is something that is hard to avoid and sucking on sugar free lozenges helps me a lot. Good luck. Irish

I didn't notice if it affected my saliva, but it made my eyes redder.

I don't think my saliva was thicker, but it was a lot less.
