Sore throat right side

I'm getting concerned at this point.
For five or six days I've had sore throat pain on the right side of my throat only.
About six or seven days I ate a hot green pepper.
Very very unsure if they are related.
I do not have tonsils.
It hurts when I swallow.
Some days are better than others, but I'm not improving.
No fever exactly, but I did have a 99 when it first happened, but ok now.
It is sometimes ever so slightly worse in the morning...but not consistently.
I'm on 15 mg of prednisone
I'm getting concerned.
Any thoughts?

Please see a doctor. A round of antibiotics may be indicated. Typically a sore throat is 2 weeks. The pepper may have irritated your throat an that allowed an infection. When my allergies trigger, the sinus drainage will sometimes give me a partial sore throat. I will do a spectrum antibody treatment with tones to eliminate the sore throat. I will take extra vitamin C and zinc.

What you are describing is exactly what happens right before I get a flare. The right side of my throat hurts and I run around a 99 degree temperature. Often, the right side of my tongue hurts as well. 24-48 after the throat pain starts, I get a flare. its been happening for years.
