If you have skipped a thyroid pill the day before a TSH test should it be re run?  I saw my doc. today and yes the test has to be rerun for anyone that might have been curious.

Thanks

Hi  :)

I have found through experience that I , personally, feel better if my TSH is running low. I am not advocating that anyone else does what I do - but I know - when I feel better. I stop my thyroid meds two days before a blood test. That seems to ensure that results are in line. Then I can keep taking what I do without it being messed with.

This is NOT A RECOMMENDATION. it simply works for me - but I have spent 16 years experimenting now.

take care - Scottie
