Autohemotherapy:  from a  pubmed web site (result of research trials).

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18506332

The increasingly frequent practice of autohemotherapy entails a potential risk to the health of individuals since it is scientifically unproven. There are practically no clinical studies showing the efficacy and safety of this procedure; only experimental research with questionable results from studies on human beings and animals.

This is the only post that I could find except this more recent pubmed post which is too dense (scientific) for me to really comprehend

Thus, if the above-mentioned potentially autoreactive factors could be detected, some potentially curative mechanisms of autohemotherapy could be suggested. One possible mechanism is the stimulation of anti-idiotype production against the above-mentioned autoantibodies, which could block their binding to the Fc?RI of mast cells or basophils. The second possibility could be tolerance induction to IgE or Fc?RI. The third possible mechanism of autohemotherapy could be tolerance induction to other blood autoantigens or even foreign allergens. With autohemotherapy, the above-mentioned antigens, like a vaccine, are processed and presented to the immune system by muscular dendritic cells, with a different immune response priming potential that may convert a previously disease-causing antigen into a regulatory antigen that activates regulatory T cells, which could suppress effector T cells9,10.

I would only consider joining a medical study involving Autohemotherapy, but personally would not seek this treatment outside of a controlled study environment.

Since I already have an immune deficiency and received IgG every 4 weeks, it is unlikely that my doctors would consider this treatment.  Just taking out blood and returning it would not be a solution.  The factors in the blood that are causing your medical problems have to be identified and removed.

In many cases medical science isn't yet able to either identify OR remove the factors causing Immune disorders.

Keep us posted, but for now, it's not on MY list.
