Something is happening in my stomach and digestive tract.  Are there simple tests to determine the cause or are the above mentioned diseases/issues diagnosed based off of symptoms?  I am thinking about going on an elimination diet but would love a test to tell me what's wrong before I start that process.

Thank you in advance!

You could go to a GI doctor or even start with your PCP. They can see if you have the antibodies that can help to diagnose celiac. Dairy can also cause a problem in those who are lactose intolerant, which isn't an allergy. A blood test could show an allergy to dairy. To get diagnosed with IBS or Crohn's, you would need a GI. You could always start with eliminating dairy from your diet to see if you feel better. Good luck!
