Is Optic Neuritis sometimes associated with Sjogren's

I've had deep eye pain in the back of the right eye and was wondering if my eye is being affected by the inflammation coming from Sjogren's. Does anyone here have optic neuritis? I have the pain but haven't gone blind in that eye yet, so maybe that pain is something else. I will be seeing my ophthalmologist next Thursday for a thorough eye exam.   Does anyone know if this is common with autoimmune diseases like Sjogren's? I have heard that it is with MS.

I have double vision caused by a sixth nerve palsy due to Sjogren's-related inflammation. It seems plausible that it could affect other nerves in the area.

ON is thought to be an autoimmune attack on the myelin surrounding the optic nerve, and is fairly common not just in MS but with Lupus and sarcoidosis as well, so there is a strong argument for it occurring with Sjogren's, especially considering the neurological side of Sjogren's.

Pain and complete loss of vision is just two symptoms, loss of field, loss of colour definition and flashing lights are also symptoms.
