Hi I'm newly diagnosed with Primary Sjogren's.  My main symptoms are joint pain, fatigue and dry eyes.  My eyes have gotten a lot worse over the past year and now they are getting blurry very often throughout the day.  I started with Xildra a few weeks ago, but my eyes are still burning and blurring most days.  I work as a programmer, so this is having quite an impact on my ability to do my job.  Has anyone else had this problem and found anything that really helps?

I don't know how long Xildra takes to work, but it took a while until Restasis kicked in for me.

If you look at the literature about SJS dry eyes or read a session from one of the SJS Foundation conferences, you will learn that there are different reasons for dry eyes and different treatments for them. So, for example, I use Restasis because I have a problem with inadequate tear production (really none without it), but I also have reduced tear film, which means my eyes don't retain the tears that I do produce. For that I was given punctual plugs.

Some folks where shaded glasses if they work on a computer a lot and you have to purposefully blink as often as possible to keep tears going.

I had tear duct plugs put in...both uppers and lowers.  They numb the corners of your eyes with drops and take a tweezer and put into the tear ducts a very tiny little plug..I had the blurry vision and hard time driving before the plugs put in...it took maybe 2 days to not notice  the plugs were in...they are worth a try..
