I've been using Tears Naturale for 15 years for dry eyes due to Sjogrens. It seems to be the only drop that does not gum up or irritate my eyes. This product was sold to another company last fall and it has taken me 3 months to figure out that the drops were causing severe irritation and redness. I've spoken to Novartis - Alcon and they insist the product has not been changed at all. (NOTE: the tubes have obviously been altered as the top does not screw off all the time and seems flimsy - Alcon did mail me a refund for one box because of this defect). Has anyone else experienced a change in their comfort with these drops? I stopped them and went back and within 20 minutes my eyes were bright red and irritated for a week! I've been around and around with doctors thinking I had a sinus infection or just extra severe dry eyes. It doesn't seem to be either.
