Lack of thirst?

Hi all,
This seems a strange question in the context of Sjogren's and a dry mouth but has anyone noticed a lack of thirst along with their other SS symptoms? I have seen many SS sufferers complain about a lack of hunger which I also suffer from but haven't heard anyone talking about first.

Lately I really have to keep reminding myself to drink water. If I don't I can go the whole day with just tea in the morning and the occasional sip to stop the mouth from getting too dry. I drink bottled water so can easily see how much I drink. Without a conscious effort it would be very little. Before onset of symptoms I would easily drink a whole bottle of 1.5L or more per day without thinking about it. I am producing very little saliva but usually there is enough to prevent a strong sensation of dry mouth, or maybe I am just getting used to the drastically reduced saliva volume.

Going off topic a bit, I have the telltale dry eyes and dry mouth as well as many other non specific symptoms without any serological evidence. Rhemy recommends a lip biopsy but I am not very keen on going ahead. Don't see the point as there is no guarantee of positive result. And even if it is positive the only treatment would be Plaquenil which does not sound very beneficial as I don't have significant fatigue or any joint pain.

Thanks for reading.
