Treatment options for slowing neuropathy progression?

Bloodtests previously have said that vit B was ok...but late last week I did get some B12 tablets to try just in case.

I avoided the "B-Complex" vitamins because I also know to avoid supplementing B6 - we get a lot of that from diet, and if B6 is too high it can also cause neuropathy.

I think I'll try to get another opinion - but I want to research first to find someone who has prior experience with Sjogren's-caused neuropathies so that they have some ideas about treatments & risks & risk-of-not-treating.
Diagnosed Sjogrens + Fibro March 2015, SFN Confirmed March 2016, LFN (sensory) Confirmed Dec 2016, ANA 1:640 Sep 2016, SSA+/SSB+, wheat intolerant (not gluten intolerant - rye/barley are ok), Vit D, Omega3 (fish), Gabapentin, Tramadol, Celebrex, Lidocaine patches, Plaquenil, Duloxetine, Primolut

That is interesting Dawn about the B6.....my B12 always shows up high on blood work--do you know what your B 12 level is? On a forum I go to for CFS/ME some folks have reported similar symptoms as you with high B 12. I have more info I can send  you if you are interested. Here are some tests that can followup on high B12 altho where I am in US my doc said insurance protocol doesn't allow for them  http://www.b12-vitamin.com/blood-levels/

I do not respond well to most meds and a lot of supplements even. I have incredible chemical sensitivity on top of everything else which is a curse when you have chronic pain........have tried every class of med and the side effects mostly make them untenable. Lately, crossing my fingers, I have been getting some relief from acupuncture, from an awful flare that started over a month ago......it is someone I have consulted the last couple years but only lately after a lot of patient experimentation do I feel like we may be hitting a rhythm....I really didn't expect much help because of limited use in the past but I am a little more hopeful that its actually making a meaningful difference
