Fifth flare in eigth months

Hello. A couple of days ago I had my fifth flare in the last eight months (in the previous years I did not have these flares, I do not know if my illness is changing). In four of them they started about 1 or 2 am during the night and it was the pain in the shoulders that waked me up. Then the unbearable pain moves to the collarbones, then to the breastbone and stomach and finally all my chest, neck, shoulders and back ache more and more and I can not lie down, I have to sit down or stand up during all the night. I take prednisone and omeprazole in these episodes since these medicines seem to slow the increase of the pain.

In one of this flares the doctors examined my heart and it was ok, so the problem is supposed not to be there. Now I am waiting for a gastroscopy. I use right now methotrexate and hidroxicloroquine as medicines.

When eleven years ago my illness symptons started, it were the nights too when I had the mean problems: awful joints pain. Later, I had severe eye problems again during the nights. So it seems that my "monsters" awake during my nights to haunt me and they only change their appearance.
