Ganglion Cyst

Got to finally seen an orthopedist who knew what was going on with my right thumb. The bone at the joint where the thumb bends is growing and misshapen (arthritis he says) and I had a ganglion cyst from which he withdrew 2ccs of gel. Fortunately, I felt no pain and shouldn't be worse for the wear.

That said, he did say to expect the bone to worsen over time. It's not the only lump or bulge, guess I'll just be a lumpy bumpy old lady some day!
