More Stenosis - 5 Minute Pity Party

I had another MRI last week, this time on my lower lumbar spine. My whole spine from head to toe has now been checked.

I have degenerative disc disease in my neck, protruding discs and stenosis in my thoracic spine and now stenosis in the lower lumbar area. In short, my spine is a wreck!
So, more meds in case I need them and "conservative" treatment, meaning more PT, ergonomics, etc.

The upside is that after living with pain, sometimes excruciating, in my sacrum I at least finally know what's wrong.

Docs say this is all degenerative. I believe it is and is all part of SjS though know my dad had a very bad spine and my mom had terrible arthritis.

I don't feel so much sorry for myself as uncertain about what life will bring (though who of us ever really knows). This may not pass, but I'll deal with it.

Thanks for listening.

Sjogirl,

Can they do something to help alleviate it?  Now that you know better what it is, maybe they can offer a better treatment?

Hang in there.  You have a very good and resilient attitude.

You've been incredibly kind in responding to my anxious posts here (even as you are going through so much pain and uncertainty), and I'm so sorry that you have to go through all this.  I really, really hope that one of these treatments will provide you relief.
Early 40s. No diagnosis. Negative lip biopsy (maybe done too early?). Negative SSA/SSB, but positive ANA (just went up to 1:160, nucleolar). Dry eyes and migraines since teens. Dry mouth, fatigue, and now joint pains are new.  Aside from ANA, negative on all other autoimmune bloodwork.
