So my Rheumatologist said based on that dry eyes for sjogren's usually comes way ahead of dry mouth, and dirty my absence of other issues, my age/ethnicity/gender, and bloodwork that did not indicate any issues, that I did not have sjogren's.

Saw an internal medicine specialist next who recommended I see an endocrinologist next. I have an appointment in July. In the meantime he had some ideas and wanted me to try to a steroid nasal spray.

Surprisngly my symptoms are better when I use the Flonase. Not like oh my God that's amazing level but to where I don't need pilocarpine or gum. Anyone else have a similar effect??

I have used the steroid nasal spray a lot over the years. I can't say that it changed the amount of mucus that I made, but it does decrease the swelling of the mucus membranes and helps with the drainage of the mucus that we do have. Do make sure that you watch for yeast infections in your mouth or even in your sinuses. I have an internist who orders my Nystatin yeast medication by the pint so that I don't run out. I am to use it according to her directions or when I feel that I need it. I try to use it twice a day much of the time. I especially think that using the Nystatin swish and swallow before bed is a good thin to do. I think that it helps to swish and swallow after brushing teeth at bedtime to keep the growth of yeast down. Good luck. Irish
