I am Amy and I am as of yet not Sjogrens dx. My dxs include Fibromyalgia, Celiac Disease, depression, anxiety,  arthritises, neuropathy, and whatever else I can't remember at the moment. My pcp referred me to a Sjogrens study based on my asking her if she thought I could possibly have it since I have all the symptoms. My study included different blood tests, spit tests, an eye and dental exam, and a lip biopsy. Most results are not yet in and it will likely be at least another month before the final word is in from them. The results that are available, though, do NOT point to Sjogrens. However, from what I have seen and read about and from Sjogrens research and sufferers I most identify with Sjogrens than with anything else. We shall see. My symptoms and thoughts and feelings do match, so I hope it is okay to hang out here and hopefully return any support, encouragement, or advice to anyone who is trying to live with these type of symptoms. The most debilitating symptom for me is by far the incapacitating fatigue. Not even for me, really, for my husband and three children. They are very supportive but I would love to be able to give more, be who I want to be. I fight so hard, every moment of every day. I know you do, too. <3

Hello Supa-new and welcome!

You can hang out here all you want.  I am seronegative but am lucky because I am being treated for my symptoms with quite a bit of success.  At least I'm much better than what I was.

I'm glad u had all of the tests done.  Hopefully when the results are in it will point to better treatment for you.

It's a constant battle but your family is well worth the fight.

Welcome again and let us know how your tests turn out.

Welcome! Some or us do not test well. We need to get our diagnosis based on symptoms only. For me, I asked my doctor "Dry eyes, nose, mouth, skin, and bottom, what do you think it is?".

He said, "Sjogren's/S.I.C.C.A."

I was a little more blunt in my question but after 7 years I needed an answer.

Supa-new welcome. Glad you are here to share with us what you are going through on your journey. We don't always start out having tests that show positive, but do have sjogrens'. Our symptoms are important for our getting treatment while they test us along the way. Glad to meet you.  :)
