The sweating is part of the nervous system effect on the autonomic system. This is caused by the Sjogrens. Most people have it to some extent, but some of us are really "blessed" with it. I sometimes walk about 25 feet in the house and I start to get overheated. I had this when I was a senior in high school and it just got worse over the years. Really spoils a person life.

I can't stunt to wear anything but cotton t-shirts and cotton slack or bermudas. I love nice clothes but feel like I am going to faint when I get "gussied" up. Dressing up for my 3 boys weddings almost killed me off. First thing I do when I come home is head for the bedroom and get into some old soft, worn thin and cool clothes. I never look very nice anymore. I could hardly dress up much for hubbies funeral cause I knew I would be drenched. I think it is really miserable but what can you do but fight your way through it.

I was also on estrogen for 13 years after I had my ovaries out and this didn't change anything. I have been sweating like this for years and it started getting worse in early 30's. Irish

I am always drenched to the gills....this weekend my Grandson is getting baptized....I came across this product called Hot Girl Pearls.....jewelry that you freeze...bought them and wore them to a bridal shower...............sooooo many women wanted to know where I got them. Although they are pricey....they were well worth it! For everyday I just use the Frog Tog chill towels....they really help also!

Add me to the list but i'm really unlucky because I sweat everywhere.. I don't even have to be doing anything.. It is embarrassing to go out and your hair is dripping, shirt has wet spots in places and when it's really bad it looks like you peed your pants.. I don't go out much anymore unless I have to because wet clothes and especially underwear are really uncomfortable...  :(

I don't know what causes it but I have always sweated a lot.. It did seem to get worse as I got older though..
