Hello All!

Sharon posted a little while ago that You and Me Magazine was looking for article submissions. Well I sent a query and they said that they'd like to see the article. I sent it in and I just found out today that they're going to publish it!

I have no idea when yet, but I asked them to inform me. I just sent the contract back e-signed so I guess I'll see. This means so much to me!  I have felt rather (no a lot) useless since the SjS kicked in with the Cushing's. I had a successful career and gave it up to homeschool our five children. When they finally pried that out of my cold Raynaud's hands, I felt completely useless.

There have been a few things I have found to do whilst I sit on my fat butt, however this... I'm getting paid to write about my illness! I can say that I'm a published author and it means so much! What an early Christmas present!

Sharon, thank you! I will post a link when I know more (gee I hope they don't go back on it now!). The article is called "Fat Faith." ;-)

Peace and blessings,
~Andrea

Thanks so much guys! It just feels really good!

SjoGirl, it's about my road to dx of Cushing's syndrome and getting shoved off by my PCP, but ends on a note of faith and hope. I do mention SjS, and the idea of it, I think that we can all relate to. The Dx road and how frustrating it can be.

Sharon, do you have stuff published with them? I'd love to read your stuff. Can you link? Send me a PM?

I just can't believe I am actually going to make a few bucks dogging my old PCP for how she treated me! =)

Ok, ok, Andrea, you got me to write my article. I'm going to sleep on it and edit it and then send it in.
