I'm an hour south of you Carolina, and my current joke of the month is this, if we get anymore rain, we are all going to have to build an Ark to live in!

We are all sick of the rain here!

Terrible flooding in Chapel Hill, NC.  Forty people had to be evacuated.  One gal lost everything in her apartment, including her car.

I can't resist -- did she really keep the car in her apartment?

Seriously, that is so hard. I hope she had renter's insurance.

"rain rain go away, come again another day" here in MD

We're supposed to have rain here, off and on for the next 4 days.  Flash flood watches already issued.

The Firefighter's loss was very sad news.  My thought and prayers to them and their families.  True Heroes.

Yes, rain, rain, rain and more rain.  Yesterday we were in the area in the NE where they thought there may be tornadoes the weather was so bizarre.

Hoping for some sun soon - kiddos are getting restless.  Went to Chuck E Cheese last week and the movies, bored this week - movies here and games...uugghhh!!!!

My question is will it stop raining? Yes, we might need that ark soon. LOL CK

Carolina

OK, it is NEVER GOING TO STOP raining, I've decided.

Two inches this week already, and two over the weekend on our deck, but 5 in a nearby town.

Enough already!

They have already cancelled all our fireworks everywhere for tomorrow due to the rain still expected all day tomorrow as well. :(

We have had our share of rain in Central Indiana~  I showed over an inch just since sunday.  Funny last year fireworks cancelled because of NO rain and this year a good chance they will be cancelled because OF rain.  So far I have not lost veggies or flowers because of the wet cooler weather. Hopefully July will take it easy on us. ;D  Happy 4th of July everyone ~

The sun is actually out this am..... hardly recognize it. LOL   Happy 4th everyone. CK

Where you at Little Iowa?   I am in Eastern Iowa and thankfully, we've had a great 4th weekend so far. No rain!  ;D

Pisces24

We are finally getting a week of nice weather here in Eastern Iowa. For this week only at 10% chance of rain and temps in 80s. Though might get humid later this week. We all were getting sooo tired of the rain.

Odd cause last year we were in a drought situation in the Midwest.  ::)

Carolina

Yes!

And for the foreseeable future.

We did have 6 unbroken days of wonderful weather at the beach last week, in SC.

That was amazing.

Yesterday early morning we had a "gully washer" as they call it. We had 3 1/2 inches of rain and the fields have a lot of standiing water. FAribault in Rice country had 8 inches in 4 hours and Steele Country had about 5+ inches in 4 hours. This area is in flood warning because the Cannon River goes through the area. Man, we have had so much rain in southern MN since the drought ended. If it wasn't for the weather what would we complain about.

Hopefully, the tomatoes will do better this year with this rain. Irish
