Is autumn arriving where you live? It seems to be here in northern England.

Not at all, still hot, humid and daily rain showers.  We normally hit our worst "summer" weather in August.

What was your all time favorite Halloween costume and why?

I was Cleopatra and my friend was an orangutan. We made a cute couple.

I bought a "paint stick" off a late night infomercial.  At 3 in the morning, somehow it sounded wonderful and I believed I needed it.  It made a bigger mess than if I had just painted the house the "old fashioned way"!

What is the most fabulous thing you ever cooked?  You know, that dish that you got so many compliments on, and you even surprised
yourself?

homemade yeast rolls with all the kneading and rising that goes along with it! Cooking is not my strongpoint, but I had to contribute to Thanksgiving Dinner. I did a test run, and they were wonderful so thought I would give it a try. They were the hit of the day!

What is your favorite crafty thing to do?

I looooooove crafting!  My favorite craft to do is cross stitching...although it is hard to do sometimes with my fingers hurting.

If there was one medication that you could not live without, what would it be?

Probably my Lexapro.  It keeps me somewhat balanced with this crazy SJS.


          What is your favorite date night with hubby, significant other, partner etc.?

We attend the date nights they have at a local painting studio.  You can bring wine, relax and they guide through painting and you leave with your artwork in about 3 hours.  The date nights are always some kind of matching painting that makes a set.  DH did it the first time to humor me and really enjoyed it. 

If you could have any job in the world, what would it be?

  It wouldn't be a "job", but I would volunteer in the baby nursery in a hospital.  I would rock the precious darlings till they fell asleep. 


   What is your favorite commercial?    Mine is the hump day camel for Geico.  Oh, yeah!  Happy Hump Day!!!!

My favorite commercial is the one where the man is always in the middle of a bunch of kids, and ask them something with one child or more always giving a funny answer, but he always makes it sound so logical. Right now one is knock knock who is there? Queen , queen who? Queen my dishes please. It's an AT&T commercial.

What was the best Christmas you ever had, and why?

When we got to spend several days in Cloudcroft New Mexico with all of the kids.  Snow was fresh and deep along the mountains, tubing was fabulous, and we all got along for the first time in a long time. It was magical.

How old were you when you realized your parents weren't so dumb after all?

30! My mum had always told me my kids would be grown before I knew it. And suddenly, the youngest was five, and they were all at school. It was a strange feeling to be able to read a book during daytime hours, without a little person demanding attention!

  Have a pedicure!!!  With vibrating chair massage!!
