In 1971, I enlisted in the Air Force. There was a base at Lagrange point 5 between the earth and moon that was serviced out of the center of Australia. PsyCorps was operational during this period also but that is another story. I was given an Honorable Medical Discharge in 1972.

Montauk (1983) was a continuation of the Philly experiment (1943) research that went into space and time experiments. When the 20 year cycle came in the 1963, we had all kinds of psycho-electronics devices were released. You can use devices to trigger a variety of mental states.

I was recalled by the VA for the Montauk project. At the time, MSP had a SAGE radar unit that could jump frequencies so it could be used to trigger a variety of mental states. You can read more about this from other sources. I was used as a control subject during the experiments. Basically you sit in the chair and they use the radar beam to trigger the desired mental state. When not in the Montauk chair, they also add a hypnosis tape to help the process.

When in the Montauk chair, signals are retrieved from a set of Helmhertz coils. The output of the coils were fed into an IBM 370 computer they were then transformed into 3D images that were displayed on a computer screen. These experiments were done before I became part of the project. There was a lot of software created in pascal for generating 3D images. Then the 40 year reunion of the Philly experiment was about to happen and I was recalled.

An abandon military building was use for my "Therapy" session on Tuesdays. A staff of about 5 people arrived to occupy the building and authorize my pay for the trip. A couple of them played other patients. The balance played staff. My "therapist" flew in from Montauk Island, NY. When she arrived, we went up to the third floor of this empty building for my session. Air traffic at MSP was stopped during my session. I sat in the chair set on the tape marks and the c-30 cassette tape was started. I was gone in 30 seconds, the tape turned off and was back alert. an hour had slipped by.

The main topic of search among the time lines was the "King George Scenario". They were looking for a time line where George Bush could be king of the United States. During the week between each session I would have nightmares of deaths used to change the time line. Memories of other time lines haunted me for 20 years afterward. As events happened I could see where we were in the timelines.

The part of the stories you read that seem believable may not be real, the parts that seem unbelievable may be real. It was an extremely strange time. I had to do something to stop the project. The created monster did happen.

During our lives here, we are given the chance to experience many things. Some experiences may seem strange and unreal. Sometimes the science to support them seems to be on the fringe of reality. The math and the patent histories do support these projects. There has been an OSS book published on the science involved by the department of navel research. Believe or do not believe that is your choice. If you have questions you can PM me.

This is just fascinating to me, Joe.  It sounds as though you could write a whole book on your experiences.  You could write it like a cross between Ender's Game/Speaker for the Dead and Coma.  With a little Time Traveler's Wife thrown in!

Of course, you would have to call it a novel, and write with a pseudonym --- like John le Carre does.

I would be first in line to buy it!

This might be the base line for a book. This would be something you would enjoy writing about and I bet it would help supplement your income. Just some encouragement for you cause you have a lot of knowledge that is just dying to be expressed. Good luck. Irish
