Scottietottie

Hi  :)

I will be away from the boards for awhile as finally my arm is getting fixed sometime tomorrow. I just am no good at typing with my left hand!!

Thank you for all your good wishes.

This episode with my arm has put my SjS pain into perspective. I can live with it! So saying - I am not minimising anybody else's pain. We are all different and I know that I am not ill the way many are.

Take care - Scottie. Cya all when I get back!   :)

Best wishes to you, Scottie.  I hope everything goes well for you and your hip and arm heals quickly.

We'll miss you around the water cooler!

Here's hoping the "arm" doctor is the one who sets your arm and not the other doctor that has prolonged your healing since August.

Good Luck, Scottie.

Hugs,

I'm going to jump in here and just give a quick update on Scottie, as I'm not sure she is able to type on her keyboard right now.

Her surgery went well.  They did NOT have to do a bone graft from her hip.

She's got a metal plate or rod (I can't remember which) and pins and will set off the detectors at the airport now.   ;)

With all she has endured pain wise with her arm for the last 7 months - now, that her arm is properly set, hopefully, it will be a breeze for her and a quick recovery.

On behalf of Scottie, thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and good wishes.

Thanks Bucky for the update.

I'm glad things went well, considering how long this has been going on!

Time for an upturn.
