Not the result I was looking for - but it could be worse.

Hey Scottie!
I am like everyone else on here! Your humorous just is not right! I sure hope you do not have some kind of osteo going on!  Please be careful and do not fall!!  That could be detrimental to that arm or any other bone that may be weak!
Just a thought... Hope that is not the case but until you find out, I would be very careful about my steps.  My best friend is in her early 50's, is a cancer survivor and is reaping the benefits of the chemo.. she has a severe case of osteo now.. her bones barely show on the films.
My thoughts and prayers are with you that they find what is causing your slow healing!

Oh, Scottie.....

Just read this.  This is after the SECOND surgery?

While it looks not great, it is perhaps healed?

I mean the bone is now grown together?

If the orthopedist wants to 'leave well enough alone' after the CT scan, perhaps what you need is some physical or occupational
therapy to strengthen your arm and hand.

After such a long period of disuse and misery, you have lost lots of function.

If the bone is 'ok' then I hope you will get some help in regaining the lost strength and function.

Please, do keep us posted.

Hugs

This post was from before Scottie had her surgery.  She has been away recouperating.  Hopefully she is doing better now and will be back before long.  I believe there is a post from right before she left that details alittle more what they were going to do. Hope to hear from her before too long.
