Neck and back pain

I got up Sunday morning in pain.  I thought I slept wrong as it feels better as the day progresses.  I sleep on a wedge and pillows and thought I was sleeping in a wrong position.  So I got blocks to put under the bed but they are only two inches high.  I need to sleep elevated due to my esopahagus and my spincter muscle doesn't close anymore.

I am having difficulty using neck and back muscles to turn from side to side when I am in bed.  I took a hot shower and could function this morning.  My question is, I generally don't have back pain and need to decide whether to ride this out or call a doctor, primary or rhuemy.  Does this sound like arthritis?  I have osteopenia.  My neck kind of crunches when I turn it but has done that for quite some time. Who do I call?

On top of this rotten pain, I started sneezing and having a runny nose today, tired, my jaws are slightly swelling and feel like someone is applying ice packs to them, started my monthly thing, got a headache and was observed my the principal today.  I think I may take tylenol and just write this day off and start over again tomorrow, if I can sleep without pain???  Any suggestions are appreciated.
