I found a pretty awesome doctor that listens to me and actually reads lab tests. After 9 years and many doctors, this is a first for me.
I had blood work done on my thyroid for Grave's Disease. I have to go in for results, so I'm thinking that means a positive.
She put me on antibiotics for lymph infection I've had for months. After 5 days I have a bad sore throat. Really??

I have a pretty amazing life and I get so annoyed with this inconvenience of what we have to deal with. I know you all can relate

Good to get the lymph gland infection treated. However, maybe the sore throat is from yeast infection that can come from taking antibiotics. Might want to look in the mirror at your throat. Also, sometimes we sjoggies can have yeast infections without the same symptoms as other people. Sometimes just some redness and not all the white yeast. Good luck. irish

I had strep throat one time and got a double penicillin shot.. The next week I went back to my doctor with my throat hurting worse than the strep did.. My tongue and all down my throat was bright red and raw looking with a yeast infection and I had double pneumonia.. So more antibiotics and a months worth of pills for yeast and that nasty mouth rinse before I felt better..

I hope you don't have that and you feel better soon..
