Bit of a setback

the other day I said I was back but since then my forearm has swollen up agin. Wentto a walk in centre today. They sent me to the hospital and they gave me a heparin hot because I may have a blood clot. I may not - but better safe than sorry. Tomorrow they will phone with an appointment for a scan.

So - typing is awkward again but I've been reading. Welc ome tp aLL nebies I've missed.

Hospital said " so is swollen arm painful?" How does one reply? Pain has been a fact of life for over 10 years now!
Just looking for enough reduction of pai to be able to sleep in a bed again and be able to get dressed!

As for answering the pain question, I would make them aware that you have daily pain already, so your 6 might be a typical person's 8.
