Sharon,

I am 52, and that is exactly what the twinges felt like to me ( when I was younger, I frequently would feel the same kind of twinge about the time I would be ovulating).  Back then, my doctor said some women feel it when they ovulate.  That's why I've never mentioned it since that time, but I am old enough now, guess I probably should have mentioned it sooner.....but the cancer test was normal, so OK for now.  It is one of the signs of ovarian cancer so not something to blow off I guess.

I have to tell her/go in if I feel it again, that will probably be when I ask her to just take the whole works out!

Nancy - so happy for you that your test results were normal/negative.   :D

I'm curious as to why any doctor would doubt that you "felt" your ovulation. It's an established medical condition, called Mittelschmerz, and experienced by approximately 20% of women ( and that 20% would only be the ones who found it uncomfortable enough to mention)

Nancy, that is great. I know you are relieved.

BTW, I feel the twinges too - always have.
