This is our 3rd grandson, also 2 granddaughters-the  big sisters for Nathaniel.  Love them all!!!  We'll see them later when grandpop gets out of work.
I have a flannel blue quilt made with all the important information quilted around the edge.  Something I have done for all 5 grandchildren.

Congratulations to the proud parents, big sisters, and grandparents!!!  Welcome to the world, Nathaniel.   :D

My all time favorite gifts are the handmade kind - I'm sure your quilt will be an heirloom for generations to come.

If it already hasn't been done, buy a newspaper with today's date on it to save for him.  What would be fun to do too, is to take pictures of different things . . price of gasoline, milk, etc. and make up a little collage for July 2012.  Save a grocery flier too.  It would be interesting to see what the prices will be when Nathaniel gets older.

Another worthwhile keepsake would be  selection of coins dated 2012. That's what I'm doing for my niece's baby, Daniel Benjamin. And, because we are hosting the Olynpics in the UK, I'm hopibg to get a selection of the Olympic coins too.
