I just saw an advertisement for a product called Zzzquil put out by the makers of Nyquil.  It is supposed to help you sleep without all the extra ingredients like acetaminophen, etc.  Has anyone tried this product yet?  I am curious if it will just make us drier!!

Liz,

I can almost say for sure it is an antihistamine such as benadryl.  Tylenol PM is just tylenol with benadryl.  It will most definitely dry your mouth and eyes.

I haven't heard of it, but some nights I think I'd be willing to risk the extra dryness just to get some sleep! I'll have to look into it!
SLE and SjS with PN. ANA >1:1280 speckled,
SS-A >8.0, RF positive. Botox for migraines, Clonazepam, Zoloft, Imitrex for migraines, CellCept 1000 mg, Plaquenil 200 mg, Restasis, Zofran for nausea, Gabapentin, Evoxac and Norco for pain.

I have tried it and it is the same ingredient as Benadryl. I will take it after a few nights of not sleeping well to knock me out.

I think the active ingredient  in it is diphenhydramine....yes very drying. You'll wake up with a "cotton mouth".
