Good Morning!
I apologize for the confusion.  During my post on my confusion on what I had been thinking, I received the phone call telling me that we must not wait and to come in.  I changed the title and the direction of this particular thread.  My apologies!

I also want to take this time and thank Iraisin for the info on the Houston Sjogens Group. evidently it is just a support group that meets and talks.

And then, I want to give huge thanks and kuddos to  Gayle!  She took up the reins for me, when I could not!  She made numerous calls and spent many hours trying to help me find some local support to help with accommodations for my husband and then myself when discharged.  Bless her sweet heart!  I did  not have the energy not the voice to go thru it all, and would have never even tried, but at her persistence with me, I gave  it over to her.

And , Wow what a relief it was to have her do so.  She found several roadblocks but just kept on going.  She did find some areas of relief,, but with waiting list so long, it was not feasible for us.  But alas, my hubby will stay with me,  Gayle was able to secure with the Hospital that he may stay on the floor either in my room or in the hospitality family waiting area designed for overnighters.

She went to extraordinary efforts and lengths for me.  Now it is said that we have angels among us and I know that Gayle has certainly been one for me.  So I am sending out a big Smooch to an Angel of a girl named Gayle.

Now, to clear the confusion.  I am being admitted today and am having the Open Lung Biopsy to be done by a different surgeon on Friday.  My pulmonary doc said I could not wait till next week to get on this.  I am following the advice of the second opinion doc in Houston.  My guess is  Advanced Sarcodosis.

My husband is a nervous wreck and will be alone as my children are unable to be with him,  And they are so sick and upset,  My daughter is feeling better and will stay with my father and that is a relief to me.  My son is devastated that is unable to be there, but will head that way as soon as he gets the papers signed on his house, Fannie Mae waits on no one!

I have tried calling, testing, facebooking and messaging his sister asking her to come be with him in the event of bad news it will break my heart knowing he is alone. But I have not heard from her.  I think they do not consider this serious. I have a feeling that she will show up for him.  I love her so much!

I am beyond words to tell you what your love, support and prayers mean to me.  I am simply stupefied!    I will tell you this though, my next laptop will have a backlit keyboard!
haha, now that was deep!  My love forever more and all my heartfelt thanks..  ~sass~

kisses Irish!

call from my pulmonary doctor.. He said this is too urgent to wait for next week..I will be admitted tomorrow and surgery will be Friday.  Wish me Luck Ya'll!!
Have had a tiny bit of blood in white frothy mucus (like milk) upon coughing.  Anybody know of any significance to  that?        ~sass~

HI I am NEW here /...and YES! I am having this as well! I have VERY thick spit (clear with white bubbles). I COUGH all night over it and i have seen and tasted blood in it. I dont know WHY though or what thats about? I assumed it was from coughing so much all the time at night that my throat was getting raw-hence the blood? My blood was very small though (turned the froth a pinky color). Let me know If you hear any more about this as well!! Many thanks! I hope everything goes WELL for you!!!!!!

All the best to you in your surgery on Friday. At least you will have some answers and then will have a better idea of how to proceed.

Take care - we are all praying for you, and with you.
