Shockingly, someone I have been talking to online for nearly 10 years and have grown close to has stabbed me in the back, betrayed a confidence and caused me a lot of trouble.  I feel hurt and also kind of numb as I have known this person for so long and am pretty sure this means or friendship is over.  I can never trust this person with anything again.

Scottietottie

That's a horrible thing to have happened. Online 'friends' can cause a heap of trouble. I've seen it happen with kids at work. I'm truly sorry it's happened to you though.

Take care - Scottie

So sorry Wildthing...

I have been betrayed by those closest to me.. I have to say I pretty much trust no one.. I think that is sad but have to feel that way. Maybe one day...

It's terrible that not only to have to be watchful of people you know personally but online friendships as well.

Sorry this has happened.

So sorry this happened to you...betrayal of any kind is so very hurtful and damaging.

I'm so sorry this happened to you, WildThing.  It hurts so much to have someone betray your trust, especially when it seems you had become very close.

Sometimes I can never figure out what something must think before doing that.
Sending you a soft hug.

Thanks guys, it's still sinking in I think but I guess I will get used to it.  I'm ok now, the trouble that was caused has been sorted but still I've lost a friend.

Ark mom

I'll be your friend.  I don't eat much and have few bad habits.  :p

Sorry about your loss!  I'm glad you are feeling better.  Hugs.

Fine. Your hired, but any messing on my floor and there'll be trouble.

Patze

I too am sorry to hear about your former friend, that sure does stink!

I'm also glad that things are looking up and I'm pretty sure that Ark mom will make a good friend too. :D

I am truly sorry that this happened to you. You know, it can take sooooooo long to build up a relationship like that, then, KABOOM! It goes to pieces.

Hope you heal soon and move along.

I'm really sorry this happened to you. I know it's tough. I've had it happen to me one time, too.
But if they're that kind of person, they you're better off w/o them, even if it doesn't feel that way at first!
