Tomorrow I will be having surgery on my lower eye lid, I have a cyst.  I am very nervous, don't know why, the dr is very good and I have confidence in him.  I guess it is just that you have no control and do not know what to expect after and how much pain there will be, and also will it send me into a flair!

Well it will be here soon enough, hope I can sleep tonight.

Hi Cricket

I know how worrying the thoughts of surgery can be - but things usually work out far better than we expect.

Try not to worry too much tonight - and know that we are all sending you positive, healing, vibes.

Cricket,

With any surgery, there is always some degree of apprehension, its just normal and the way people deal with these things.

Don't be hesitant to ask the nurse when you arrive to describe the procedure before you undergo it so you'll know what to expect.  That might help a wee bit.  Let us know what happens and I'm sending many positive thoughts your way.

Hugs,
Daisy

How did the surgery go? I hope you are not too uncomfortable.

Well the surgery went well.  He told me two hours after getting home to remove bandage.

Did that and my eye lid was turned downward and I had double vision, my husband had to lead me to bed.  I freaked out!  After a few hours the vision returned to normal.  My husband said could be the novicane that caused it.  I was put under a twilight anthestic.  I also have on the white of eye looks like a fluid filled bubble, called doc and he said it is ok, thank God!

So all in all I. Am doing ok.

Thanks for all the prayers.

Hi Cricket

I've been away for a couple of weeks, so just seen your surgery update. You must be so relieved that it is behind you. How is your eye now?
